Competition
- First place winner gets to brew with N.E.W. Ales Brewing head brewer and wins a Tilt hydrometer along with a $25 gift card from both N.E.W. Ales Brewing and HBYOB. Second place wins a tilt hydrometer.
- Winning beer will be on tap at N.E.W. Ales Brewing (tap release date will be announced after competition. The winning home brew recipe will continue to be used by N.E.W. Ales Brewing in the future).
- $5 entry fee for your first beer and $1 for any additional entries per person. If ingredients are purchased from HBYOB all entry fees will be waived.
- Please provide at least one 12 oz. bottle of your beer. However growers or any other bottle size are fine.
- Label your bottle with you name, best contact info, and style of beer you are entering (additional info about the beer is optional but helpful). We have stickers in store if you would like to label at drop off.
- Drop off date for beer entries is between April 1st and April 10th. You may drop off entries at HBYOB or N.E.W. Ales Brewing.
- Results will be announced at N.E.W. Ales Brewing 1521 1st Ave Middletown, OH 45044 on April 17th at 7 p.m. You must be present to win.
- Score sheets for beer feedback will be available upon request after winners are announced.
If you would like to enter the competition please submit your info below. Please enter the quantity of beers you would like to enter along with the styles. Fees will be collected at drop off. If you purchased your ingredients from HBYOB to have your fees waived and are dropping off at N.E.W. Ales Brewing please submit entries with a copy of your receipt from HBYOB. You may also use this form if you have any other questions.
